Elongate-oblong, robust; black or piceous, shining; lateral margins of pronotum and elytra reddish, translucent; undersurface piceous; antennae and legs yellowish brown Pronotum transverse; posterior angles rounded; basal impressions shallow, not distinct, sparsely, finely punctate. Elytral striae deep; intervals feebly convex, alutaceous, third with a dorsal puncture. Length 8 - 10 mm.
