Genus Dicaelus

Large, robust, convex; antennae with the basal three segments entirely glabrous; pronotum wider at base than at apex, base prolonged over base of elytra; elytra not sinuate at apex, deeply striate, eighth and ninth striae distant, seventh interval more or less carinate at base, dorsal puncturs lacking; metacoxae contiguous, not separated by the apex of the antecoxal piece.
