Savey is highly effective against mite eggs.  If many active mites are present, an adulticide should be applied. See Table for REI and PHI information. Pyrellin is moderately effective as an acaricide registered for brambles. It has a short residual life and should be reapplied at 7 day intervals while mite populations persist.  Stylet oil is effective against mite eggs; repeated applications may be needed while mites persist.

Remove wilting canes in June and July.  Sevin or malathion are applied as a foliar spray. Apply Brigade post-harvest (fall) or pre-bloom (spring), as a drench application directed at the crown of plants in a minimum of 200 gal water/A. Greater efficacy is observed at higher water gallonages up to 400 gal/A, or in an application prior to a significant rainfall event. Do not make a prebloom foliar and prebloom drench application. See supplemental label.
